Your June Calendar
BOREDOM IS YOUR OWN DAMN FAULT.
First month of summer and we’re spending it in the sun and
on the streets of Denver. Not only are local markets and festivals
coming back to life, June commemorates both Juneteenth
and Pride Month! Join us in properly celebrating both
with festivities happening all over the city.
June 4: First Friday Art Walk
Santa Fe Art District’s Art Walks are BACK for 2021!
Kicking off with June, head down to Santa Fe
and join in on the fun while perusing art galleries,
co-ops, street art, and more. The Art District spans from
13th to Alameda avenues and Kalamath to Inca streets.
June 12: Off the Record Block Party
To celebrate Record Store Day, Barnstock and
Larimer Lounge are bringing your fave Colorado musicians to
Larimer Street for a block party benefitting Youth on Record.
Head to Larimer for hour long sets from local talent,
vinyl shopping, and more!
June 18 – 20: Juneteenth Celebrations
Celebrate Juneteenth with Juneteenth Music
Festival, including the Juneteenth R&B Kickoff with
nationally-acclaimed 112 playing live at Levitt Pavilion, a two-day
block party across neighborhoods in Denver, and
the annual Juneteenth Parade in Five Points.
June 24: Riverfront Park Summer Sessions
Meet us at Riverfront Park for an evening full of live music
from Mile High Soul Club, Float Like a Buffalo,
and Brothers of Brass, libations from Great Divide
and Stem Ciders, and food trucks to be announced!
June 26 – 27: Denver PrideFest
This year, Denver’s PrideFest will be hosted both virtually
and in-person from June 26-27. Check out Pride Hubs
for updates on all in-person parties and festivals happening at
both The Center on Colfax and the Jewish Community Center.
Month of May: BØH Taqueria
In the back alley of Free Market, you’ll find BØH – a rotating
counter service concept from the brains behind BRUTØ.
This time, BØH will be featuring tasty tacos inspired by
Mexico City paired with strong mezcal cocktails.
Order up and eat on the patio!
