ETHDenver, the largest and longest running ETH event in the world, approached and enlisted Two Parts to manage the return of their in-person Community Innovation Festival for 2022. We were hired to be an extension of the core ETHDenver team for both experiential and digital responsibilities throughout the 10-day festival.

With an integrated plan and approach, our experiential team hit the ground running to organize, manage, and produce each ETHDenver event, on and offsite with in-person programming that was livestreamed all over the world. In 2022, the event footprint expanded to include four additional venues along Broadway in addition to the previously-known Sports Castle homebase for the festival in years past. Not only was the ETH campus expanded, but the attendance grew to be the biggest yet. ETHDenver has historically welcomed 2k attendees and this year, the event hosted 8k+ attendees who traveled from around the world to join the fun. To account for the influx of event-goers, our team drafted up venue layouts, led check-in and registration, created detailed production schedules, and pulled together a team of contractors to manage each venue ‘round the clock. Much of ETHDenver’s programming gave attendees 24/7 access to the campus to participate in a hackathon and gather around a common purpose of emerging technologies, Ethereum, and blockchain innovation. The campus spanned three blocks and six venues, which required a comprehensive signage plan to influence foot traffic, implement safety protocols, and give attendees a clear understanding of daily programming. We worked with offsite spaces, including the Art Hotel, Temple Nightclub, Mirus gallery, 1134 Broadway, The Jonas Bros Building, and The Church Nightclub, to ensure that our event management expertise was consistent and streamlined across the entire event footprint. ETHDenver required an expansive list of vendors to execute each event which our team vetted, contracted, and directed during the entirety of the event.

Not only was Two Parts responsible for managing the non-stop magic happening onsite during ETHDenver, our team defined a robust content management plan to ensure that festival programming and core information were present on the website leading up to and during the 10-day event. This included integrating a comprehensive scheduling widget and managing upwards of 500 individual events, coordinating sponsor hierarchies on the website, embedding Twitch livestreams for each of the six stages, and coordinating content for over 100 pages and blog posts. We saw over 335,000 unique visitors on the site and half a million page views on ETHDenver.com!

The 10-day event gave attendees the opportunity to listen to key players in the blockchain and Web3 world including: Vitalik, Kimbal Musk, and Andrew Yang, engage with interactive art installations, hack, experience live performances from top names: Deadmau5, Phantogram, Tycho, and Major Lazer, and so much more. We’re proud to have been a part of such an impactful event that inspires the generations of today and tomorrow!
