Cask Thief

THOUSANDS OF WHISKEY LOVERS DELIGHTED.
RARE RELEASES AND TASTES.
PROGRAMMING AROUND THE CLOCK.
BOTTLES HEADED TO HOME BARS.

For the third year in a row, Two Parts teamed up with Stranahan’s to produce Cask Thief – one of the world’s most unique tasting events in whiskey! Two Parts worked closely with Stranahan’s to develop an experience that felt both lively and engaging —all within budget and on time.

We designed a layout featuring seven themed sampling activations complete with unique floral arrangements (from our partner at Buckley House of Flowers), and an outdoor zone where guests could enjoy live music, the Stranahan’s airstream cocktail bar, the AJ's Pit Bar-B-Q food trailer, and plenty of tables to relax and dine. We worked with our creative team to include plenty of signage and wayfinding opportunities that seamlessly took Cask Thief attendees into the distillery to experience the seven tasting activations and wow factor moments. Team Two Parts booked three high energy bands to play during Cask Thief weekend including, client-favorite Heavy Diamond Ring, Ghost Town Drifters, and Gasoline Lollipops. When attendees weren’t jammin’ to Americana music, they were sampling the Sweet Action x Stranahan’s collaboration ice cream flavor, taking a photo at the whiskey-themed photo opp, or grabbing a bite from AJ’s Pit Bar-B-Q, which included an exclusive taste of Stranahan’s whiskey-based BBQ sauce.

Between a dialed door strategy, a stellar lineup of bands, and a thoughtful layout, we met these objectives for three awesome sessions over the course of two days. It was a perfect weekend for super fans to stock up on rare and coveted cask-conditioned Stranahan’s variations.

Snowflake

THOUSANDS OF WHISKEY LOVERS DELIGHTED.
RARE RELEASES AND TASTES.
PROGRAMMING AROUND THE CLOCK.
BOTTLES HEADED TO HOME BARS.

After a yearlong hiatus, Stranahan’s tapped Two Parts to go bigger than ever before on their annual Snowflake release and give thirsty fans what they’d been patiently waiting for—an epic bottle release party complete with live music, cocktails galore, food, games, and tailgating action at one of the greatest venues on earth.

Our production team was tasked with bringing Snowflake out of the distillery and to the iconic Morrison music venue, Red Rocks Amphitheater! We implemented a smooth flow of activities that activated all areas of the venue from the Upper North Lot to Snowflake Village located in the Red Rocks Upper Plaza, then into the amphitheater, and finally around the park to the bottle sales area. With help from a robust signage plan, attendees were able to seamlessly navigate all of the magic that 2021’s Snowflake had in store! To keep the energy high from morning to late afternoon, we booked some of Denver’s favorite rock bands, bluegrass trios, and a vinyl DJ to surprise and delight. We worked with a handful of vendors to ensure attendees kept busy including coffee carts serving gourmet coffee drinks and tea, ice sculptors, photo opportunities, and food trucks stationed along the North Lot.

All of the careful planning and marketing support from Two Parts led to the highest attendance of any Snowflake release to date, and the most bottles ever sold on an event day for the brand. Fans got their thirst quenched, the brand got to show off at an epic venue, and Two Parts successfully flexed its experiential muscles for Stranahan’s like never before— a true win-win-win!
